Noche de Moda is the annual fundraising event to support CAN’s Community Outreach Program.

Noche de moda is a fun and fabulous night.
Your ticket allows access to the exclusive Noche de Moda fashion event, held at a beautiful private residence in Guiones.   

Browse and shop new high-end designer pieces, local Nosara Fashion designs and gently used high end clothing. Your ticket includes a welcome drink from Bottle-O or Blue Zone Brewery, canapes by Mamagui and live music. Enjoy a vibrant atmosphere filled with fashion, music, and community spirit as you support a meaningful cause. 100% of the proceeds from Noche de Moda benefits the Community Outreach Program at Centro Acuático Nosara.

About our Outreach Program

Our Community Outreach Program main focus teach local Costa Rican children in the Nosara public schools (age 6+) how to swim —at no cost to them. We began with 14 enthusiastic participants in October 2022. Since then, we've had the privilege of instructing over 100 children. Currently, around 70 children are learning to swim every Saturday morning. We provide them with equipment like swimming caps, goggles, as well as transportation to and from the pool.

Aqua Yoga for Senior Local Citizens.  In partnership with Kitson Library, we provide weekly Aqua Yoga sessions designed to improve mobility, balance, and overall well-being for seniors in Nosara. This six-month program has helped 15-20 participants experience reduced joint pain, greater ease of movement, and a renewed sense of strength and confidence in their daily lives.

Pool Time for the NOSARA Lifeguards. Bomberos de Nosara receive free access to the pool for training and swim. practice, which enhances their ability to respond to water emergencies and strengthens overall community safety. Supporting the Bomberos in this way ensures they have the necessary resources to continue their lifesaving work while also deepening community engagement with our aquatic programs.
