Learn to Swim Program

A community outreach program for all kids of Nosara

The Vision of CAN is a Nosara whose identity includes pride in aquatic proficiency and mastery.

Nosara, as in many rural beach communities in Latin American or developing countries, does not have the facilities to provide adequate or even basic swim or aquatic lifesaving skills. Even though the local families visit the beaches, rivers, and waterfalls for work, necessity or pleasure.

Please support our mission of bringing aquatic education to all of the local Nosara community.

Our commitment to giving back is what moves us. It's been three yeards now since we began our journey, and today, we're proud to have 65 active Costa Rican local children from public schools swimming with us for free. More join us every 8 weeks. We offer them not just free classes, but also essentials like swim caps and goggles and transportation.
